Within our EMEA Development Centre (EDC), and being part of the EMEA Development Quality Department, the Facility Section is responsible for the Part and Product Reliability Testing Facilities. DENV Facility Section considers and realizes the future needs (build and/or refurbish test room), maintains the machine park (both corrective and preventive), and does the required to optimize it’s performance (KPI, efficiency & effectiveness, PCDA, …). As EDC both the Quality, the Cost & the Delivery is top priority and as such optimum simulation and test is required to validate the newly developed products.
Job Content
- Responsible for the good functioning of the test rooms.
- Execute projects to increase test room productivity and efficiency.
- Manage and coordinate service providers and suppliers to achieve the goals.
- Immediate interventions when problems occurred with the test rooms.
- Arrange further automatization of the test room machine park.
- You are a contact person for the reliability engineers, design engineers and management and work in a team with other facility engineers.
- Determine your own work-plan in function of the section and department action plan.
- Regularly discuss your results and problems with the management, make and implement action plans.
- Execute your actions and projects on time and take the correct countermeasures to avoid delay and to prevent problems
Profile
- You have an industrial engineering degree , a specialization in automatization is a plus.
- You are a person with a strong technical interest, willing to lead and follow-up projects.
- You are driven to find solutions for technical problems and specific requirements.
- You enjoy playing an active role in projects and you have the requisite self-discipline to make timetables, put priorities and meet deadlines.
- You are a team player and have an openness to cooperate within the entire organization.
- You have a very good knowledge of English and you can preferably speak an other languages (Dutch,…)
