How does it work?

Cover up to 60% of your heating demand with renewable energy, by simply adding the Daikin Altherma add-on air-to-water heat pump to your existing system. The installation is easy and fast, and you can keep your existing radiators.  The small heat pump is added to your existing system and will cover your space heating requirements in spring and autumn, in the coldest days of winter when the heat pump cannot cover your heating demand it will automatically activate your existing boiler to take over. This hybrid technology allows you to cover up to 60% of your heating needs with renewable energy while keeping your investment limited. The hot water for your shower can still be heated up by the boiler so you do not need a domestic hot water tank.

The heat pump will not only take into account the season and the required capacity but even the gas and electricity prices and switch to the most efficient heat source of the moment. By being able to heat by electricity and gas you gain security in a fast changing environment.

How much can I save?
